Transport of the week

This was an internal operation carried out within our own yard, using the Hiab crane to relocate containers on site. Owing to the size and weight of the container, the Hiab’s stabiliser legs were fully deployed to provide the necessary support and ensure a safe, controlled lift.

The task also required comprehensive preparation, including detailed lifting plans and a diagram outlining the specific working dimensions and constraints the crane had to operate within. In addition, RAMS documentation was completed, incorporating a full risk assessment of the lift. These measures are essential to safeguard the operator, maintain site safety standards, and ensure the load can be lifted and positioned securely and efficiently.
